Roneeta Guha

Roneeta Guha is the Vice President, Strategy and Impact. She brings a deep commitment to improving educational opportunities for all children through evidence-based practice and policy. Roneeta joined the Alliance from the Learning Policy Institute, where she was a Senior Researcher, co-leading and managing policy, practice, research, and communications on major state and national initiatives to promote authentic assessments of student learning. Before joining LPI, Roneeta was on staff at SRI International’s Center for Education Policy for over a decade, during which she led and conducted major research and evaluation studies focused on educator quality, systemic district reform, career pathways, and charter schools. During her time at SRI, Roneeta served as the co-principal investigator of an independent and multi-year evaluation of the California Linked Learning District Initiative. She has also served on the Alliance’s Board of Directors and as the Chair of its Research and Evaluation Council. Roneeta began her career in education as an admission counselor at Occidental College in Los Angeles. She received an M.Ed. in International Education Policy from Harvard University and a B.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University.
